I have decided to start my ‘blog catch up’(!) of 2016 weddings with one of my favourite venues Port Lympne. I was lucky enough to photograph several weddings there last year and every time I visit I see something new and beautiful in the venue and the incredible gardens. The mansion house history with guests such as Winston Churchill and Charlie Chaplin who had partied on its grand terraces to the current drive to protect endangered animals through the safari experience makes this venue very much one of a kind! Kerry & Pete had fallen for this beautiful venue too and have kindly agreed to share their day.
It was amazing to meet Kerry and Pete before their wedding and hear about their plans, Kerry clearly had a very creative vision and I was excited to see how it would all come together. I was however, completely blown away on their wedding day by just how many fabulous details and ideas and pretty touches had been brought together!
Kerry was simply a stunning bride who enjoyed every single moment of her day and made sure she spent a little time with everyone!
And Pete and his best man had a fun morning too : )
Port Lympne has such breath taking views and gardens at every turn, a photographers dream!
‘And we did it!!’
The beautiful and unique interiors make for some fabulous portraits too
I loved all of the unique and creative touches that Kerry and Pete had chosen for their day and how they blended the wedding breakfast details to the safari experience at Port Lympne with very pretty animal ornaments
I am often asked what my favourite part of a wedding day is and the speeches are always so much fun!
And getting ready for the party..
Thank you so much Kerry & Pete for sharing your day, it has been a joy to return to!
