When I first met Bex at a café in Rochester to discuss her wedding plans and photography thoughts, her enthusiasm and kindness was boundless.  I was so excited as well to find out that she was to be married at Rochester Cathedral, for years the Cathedral has been part of my life and now to have the opportunity to photograph a wedding at this beautiful and special location was so exciting.  Bex, as you will be able to tell(!) also has an eye for fashion, putting things together beautifully and bringing out the joy in everything.  Here are a few favourites of mine from the day, however, I could have chosen 100!!

Stunning flowers by Edens Florist, and a very pretty sparkly pair of shoes from L.K Bennett.  Gorgeous flowing hair with intricate styling by JY Hair.

Meanwhile Andy and his groomsmen were busy at Rochester Cathedral welcoming guests for the wedding and making sure everything was just perfect (with a few good jokes thrown in too!)And finally the moment was here… Bex’s stunning arrival at Rochester Cathedral, what a most beautiful bride 🙂 Phenomenal layered wedding dress from Hayley PaigeDue to the sheer scale of the space inside Rochester Cathedral for weddings they opted to have their vows in the more intimate area of the Cathedral, the pic below was taken from the very back.  A very special treat in this service as well was the beautiful singing of Gospel Touch. And these deeply happy smiles lasted the whole day long!Just how loved Bex & Andy are could be felt by the sheer excitement as their friends and family awaited the exit to congratulate them…And a few snaps with the car before heading off for fun and celebration at the beautiful Chilston Park Hotel in Lenham, an absolute favourite of mine for weddings!  Bex & Andy opted for just 5 mins or so portrait time so we just focused on a few classics for their portraits. And now time to celebrate with their loved ones, natural and relaxed pictures were their priority. These beautiful bridesmaid dresses were from the Maya design at Asos Bridal.  These ladies looked glamorous and stunning all day long and it was also lovely when the dresses sparkled under the evening lights too (was definitely a fan!).  Loved the compliment of the simple but elegant orchid floral bouquets too by Edens Florist. It felt as though the day couldn’t get any better and then there was warming up inside and the beautiful wedding breakfast too!Bex & Andy told me prior to their wedding that they had spent a lot of time creating special arrangements for the wedding breakfast.  I was however, completely AMAZED(!) to see just how much time, guests found their seats by finding their own portrait…so beautiful!  The vibrant and colourful arrangements were inspired by their travels and looked so wonderful, colourful and welcoming.  Wonderful speeches too!All of the guests loved watching Bex & Andy cut their first cupcake(!) together too 🙂  Beautiful cake creation by What’s Up Cupcake.Followed by a lot of fun on the dancefloor too!  What an amazing day.  Thank you so much Bex & Andy, getting to know you both a little has been very special for me, will certainly remember your day always.. congratulations once more!! xx
