I was delighted to be asked by the team at Winters Barns to capture some images for their new website of the amazing range of food and menus that they offer through Scott Anderson Catering.  I really love this venue, it is so friendly, so beautiful and the attention to detail is in everything.  The food of course is no exception and I have noticed when photographing weddings there in the past just how much pride was being taken in the food preparation and service, I had no idea however, that this very special service was due to the meticulous planning and passion from Scott Anderson Catering.  Here are just a few of the wonderful canapes and dishes offered…

Winters Barns looked stunning as always for their open day with venue decoration by Light of my Life and Flowerart UK.  I will quote the chef’s descriptions where possible for the lovely food(!) below is “Beetroot and potato velouté, black sesame and rosemary oil

‘Cured salmon, cream cheese and herb roulade, herb blini and baby fennel’  And what an appetizing drink indeed!‘Sun ripened heirloom tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad, merlot vinaigrette and basil purée’- I simply cannot describe how delicious this fresh salad smelt(!) ‘Asian sushi with salmon roe, pickled ginger and wasabi’ and finally to finish with an all time favourite and something very sweet, chocolate, raspberry, vanilla and mocha macaroons, who can resist?!Thank you once again to Winters Barns and Scott Anderson Catering for trusting me with taking your pictures and for this opportunity, I know just how hard the chefs worked for this day and I was literally blown away by all of the colours and lovely dishes… 🙂
